Key Features, Pros and Cons: What’s Good About Mr Play?
The main benefits of Mr Play, a new sports betting site available in the UK, is that it offers relatively high odds. Surprisingly high odds actually.
There are nice welcome bonuses for new players, and a wide range of sports markets on offer.
Its website is simple and provides all the basics you need to enjoy a flutter.
Potential Drawbacks of Mr Play
Unfortunately, Mr Play is a new sports betting site and it is therefore far from perfect, especially if you compare it with the best sports betting sites in the UK.
When using Mr Play for the purpose of our review, we noticed that:
- There is no live sports streaming
- Support is only offered in limited hours
- There are some negative customer reviews
- There’s no VIP or loyalty programme for sports betting customers
- The website is relatively slow and sluggish compared with the established websites like Betfred, Bet365, Betfair, etc.

It’s certainly worth checking out if you’re interested in taking your sports betting experience to a higher level.

It’s worth noting that there is no VIP or loyalty programme for sports betting customers; there is one for casino users, but that’s not what we focus on here.

Design and User Interface
The design of the Mr Play website is not bad, but it’s not exactly a strong point. In our experience when we review the Mr Play website, the web page wasn’t amazing.
It loaded relatively slowly and there was some sort of spinning chip or wheel that appeared when each page was loading as well, which wasn’t at all attractive.
Aside from that, it’s a basic and has been built to be as functional as possible.
While it’s not the worst sports betting site we’ve experienced, you definitely get the feeling that this is a new and growing website. It has plenty of time to grow, but the best sports betting sites in the UK are far ahead in terms of design and user interface at the moment.
Using Mr Play on Desktop and Mobile
Mr Play is available on both desktop and mobile, so which option you choose is down to your personal preference.
When we searched for an app on iOS, however, we were surprised not to see a sport-specific Mr Play app. There is a casino app under the brand’s name, but seemingly no sports betting app.
For the purpose of this Mr Play review, we used the mobile betting platform, which worked fine.
Mr Play Customer Support (Help!)

Our Final Say & Overall Mr Play Rating
Mr Play is a good sports betting site that offers competitive odds on a variety of different sports and markets.
Our Mr Play review allowed us to experience it It’s a functional betting site that provides all you need to stake bets on sports like football, rugby, tennis, cricket and much, much more!
There seems to be no app for the Sports specifically, which is disappointing, but its website works just fine, especially for such a new player in the game.
After testing Mr Play, we’re likely to give the edge to the more renowned, well known betting sites at this moment in time. However, it’s definitely one to watch, and if you’re intrigued by any of its features (such as the pretty cool Battle of the Punters) then you aren’t alone!
